Future Problem Solving is a nationally recognized, award-winning program founded by Dr. E. Paul Torrance. The program seeks to increase an awareness of the future and encourage creativity in students of all ages.
Future Problem Solvers follow a six step Future Problem Solving Process.
Step 1 - Identify Challenges and Concerns
Step 2 - Determining an Underlying Problem
Step 3 - Produce Solution Ideas
Step 4 - Generate and Select Criteria
Step 5 - Apply Criteria to Solution Ideas
Step 6 - Develop an Action Plan
